As the initiator of the exchange platform, I stand 100% behind the founding idea, implementation, and design of helpindeal. I am a trained visual marketing designer, graphic designer, and
mother of a daughter.
 

Bernd – (COO) Project Management, Technical Development, Controlling

As an experienced graduate engineer and project manager, my father worked out, managed, and tested the technical implementation of the platform in detail. We are always working on further development to offer you the best possible user function.

The Story - From Experience to Mission

I was a single mother in a small apartment, with a part-time job and without much financial means. Still, I wanted to offer my daughter a nice life and was looking for possibilities... There were some!

My first deal happened on a farm. I often took trips to the countryside with my daughter and happened to start a conversation with the farmer's wife. She needed help and I needed a suitable location for my daughter's 7th birthday... So she offered me the chance to help with repairs, tidying up, and taking care of the animals. In return for my support, my daughter could celebrate her birthday there with her friends, which ultimately became an unforgettable experience!

And then...?

...the next deal changed everything and was so fantastic that I want to make this type of exchange possible for everyone.

Vacation during the holidays with a child? That presented me with big financial challenges. I found a solution and managed to take her on vacation to Sardinia twice a year during the holidays without having to pay anything for accommodation!

How so?

I received an offer from Sardinia to use the apartment for free in exchange for simple help. The beach was less than 100 meters away. I helped in the household, we cooked together, and I took care of the animals. Very relaxed, as agreed and without stress. You don't feel like a tourist, but get to know the country and people very closely. We were able to use the accommodation for free in exchange for our help during the summer and autumn holidays and have always been warmly welcomed so far.

And I want to make that possible for everyone!

This led to our exchange platform with the philosophy - "Give and Take"

Because there are many other areas where we can support each other!

For example, I get free gas by lending my car and getting it back with a full tank.

Everything is possible! Without money!
